Bill Kasson Yamaha was founded in 1970 with a father-son partnership. today, it continues to operate with son, Bill Kasson, fully managing the shop with the able assistance of his son, Will Kasson. Will’s son, Carter (age 1) will, no doubt, be carrying on the tradition, since he spent every business day of the first year of his life at Kasson’s.

This kind of lineage guarantees that the people you come into contact with at Kasson Yamaha KNOW motorcycles. We know how to ride them, sell them, service them, and how to find just the right accessories for bike or body.

Bill Kasson SignBill Kasson, who manages the shop and who you will most likely find behind the front counter, brings a total of 45 years of experience to his job. He will help you find just the right part for your fix-it project and likely even give you a few pointers on how to go about it. He can find insurance for you, inspect your bike, and discuss the different models. He is an expert mechanic and has ridden street and off-road since the 1950’s. He still loves dirt bike riding all these years, and enjoys his trips to Colorado, West Texas, and Baja California.

Will Kasson was raised at the shop, just as he is bringing up his son, Carter. Will knows his parts as well as his father, Bill, and in addition, knows the motorcycle models inside and out. He can help you find just the right bike for your size, experience, budget and taste. Will is also a master off-road rider, competing in motocross, and giving occasional off-road riding lessons.

Bill Kasson, Sr, now retired, upheld the financial aspects of Kasson Yamaha for many years. He brought 50 years of accounting experience to the partnership, and created all the financial systems for the shop. His consistency and stability continues in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the business.

Over the years, Kasson Yamaha has been the employer for brothers John, Joe, and Mike Kasson, as well as for sister, Elizabeth, and daughter, Starr. Brooks Kasson, wife of Bill, today assists in the office.

All told, Kasson Yamaha has been a productive, consistent, quality-oriented family business for 36 years. We assure you a depth of experience when it comes to choosing, buying, riding and maintaining your motorcycle or scooter.
